Ryohei Shingu

Japanese visual director. Primarily directs music videos and commercial advertisements. Born in Kyoto Prefecture 1983, he graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies. He previously worked at PYRAMID FILM INC. before becoming a freelance creator. His portfolio spans a wide range of genres, from bold visual work for music videos to commercial films for major clients. Across all his projects, he is highly regarded for the meticulous craftsmanship poured into every single frame. He excels at crafting memorable imagery and dynamic VFX. Leveraging cutting-edge visual expression paired with a charming dramatic sensibility, he has expanded his practice into short films and drama in recent years. He joined BABEL LABEL in June 2022. Co-directed with Michito Fujii, the film *Leviathan* marks his feature directorial debut. It is scheduled for release in Japan in February 2027.
