Max Maclay

Max Maclay is a British-Swedish filmmaker based in Dublin. Having recently directed two shorts during his time at University College Dublin, both with student film festival releases, Max is now directing an independent, self-financed short with a 2026 premiere. The project focuses on two writers reckoning with harsh truths surrounding their relationship.
