Mathieu, fifteen years old, student in an agricultural high school, is an apprentice on a work-study program at Paul's farm, a small dairy farm on the Haut Doubs plateaus. In addition to learning working methods, Mathieu must integrate into family life, make his mark, find his place. Around the gestures of work, links are woven with Paul.
